Listened to this esteemed pediatric doctor regarding Covid. Basically:
- Delta Covid is super duper scary. No regular Covid was super duper scary. Delta Covid is triple dog scary. Your kids should be shaking.
- Masks work and should be required in schools. Except you should still expect them to get sick because they don't work all that great.
- You are evil if you don't think masks should be required in schools. Pay no attention to what I just said above.
- Even though it is extremely unlikely your kid will die, SOME kid will die so all kids should be afraid.
- Even though some kid will die, no kids should stay at home. This is so triple dog scary but it is important kids should be in school rather than home schooled or even learning virtually.
I am not kidding. This was real. I will even share the link to Yewtube if you want me to.
My favorite recent take was from the governor of Oregon, basically: "The elected officials at the local level weren't listening to the CEOs, so I had to step in."
