Companies have realized that they can slap a new coat of paint on an older game, pay the big streamers to play it, and a whole new generation of customers will go buy old products.
Fast forward 6 months (or however long it takes them to pump out this shit) and you'll see all the usual streamer suspects overreacting to dead space remake jump scares.

Now that you mention it, I've been seeing streamers play Dead Space recently. No idea on the thot-end of things but it's been making the rounds with vtubers.

Now that you mention it, I've been seeing streamers play Dead Space recently. No idea on the thot-end of things but it's been making the rounds with vtubers.
I assume they do not have enough creativity for new games and they do not want to risk to much.
However some remakes have been good, RE comes to mind. The first one was a remake but the others are remastered.
