Disagree completely. The notion that you can call out bad video game journalism without ever noticing or addressing the fact that literally every bad journo is a frothing radical leftist is asinine.
I'm just saying, if a community wants to focus on video game related politics, I don't have an issue with that. For the record, I absolutely agree that they're related, and it would be pretty obtuse, but not everyone wants to be bombarded with this nonsense day in and day out. If people just want to talk vidya and game journo soyboys, that's fine with me. The people that want to talk about other more meaningful stuff still can too. The only reason halfKiA and KiA2 had to split is because the mods were deciding what people could talk about. And that's the bad part.
Honestly, considering there is so much activity in KiA2, it's pretty obvious that most people did want to talk about things beyond vidya. I was mostly arguing the theoretical anyway. Obviously people do want to talk broader politics, and I agree that's a good thing.
