I'm posting my Reddit post here if people want to actually see what I actually did.
Dear fellow users:
We regret to inform you that u/AntonioOfVennice has been permanently suspended while engaged in moderating actions on the 5th of August 2021 due to what we believe may have been enemy action. Unfortunately, he was suspended for explaining the justification of a comment removal to a user.
To be clear: it was this explanation of Reddit rule enforcement which is a bannable offense. I can't tell you which rule he was explaining, because that would require me to do the same thing that got him banned: explain the rule.
[DoM's note: He told a user that Reddit removes comments that assert that transgenders have mental illness. Which they do. See the comments section for the actual image]
WHEREFORE: The rule I'm not allowed to explain to you has been made officially made into: THE SECRET RULE. You are not allowed to discuss this SECRET RULE, otherwise your comment will be removed. You are also not allowed to violate THE SECRET RULE, and I'm not allowed to tell you what it is. All references to THE SECRET RULE have been redacted as SECRET.
Now... I can't in good conscience punish you for violating THE SECRET RULE since I'm not allowed to tell you what THE SECRET RULE actually is. You have to... discover it by violating it, I guess?
In case you were wondering if Reddit is a fucking Kafkaesque nightmare site,
the answer is yes.
Will AoV appeal? Yes. Will that appeal be granted? Unknown.

Thanks to u/BandageBandolier 's suggestion on our Win site, feel free to use BBC Pidgen version of the Orange Man site: "De Donalt dut ween". That means you can't use the English translation of DeDonalt.ween nor De Donalt dut ween.
Also, I am going to re-implement our old Border Security proceedure. New users and users who have little posting history on the sub will be permanently suspended if they violate a sitewide.
That actually is the logic. Several of the tech giants have said so specifically. They do not want people getting around the rules, so they don't actually explain them.
It's a good tactic if you're a tyrant, but if you're being fair; it's crazy.
It's the kind of tyranny you see in school administrators and HOAs. Big fish in little ponds. The kind of people who should never lead anything, but always tend to.
It's definitely a case of personal time being available to sink into overall inconsequential things that grant small amounts of power, and part of why things like HOAs, schools, and Internet forums attract these people. Nosy, power-hungry busybodies that aren't holding down a job (i.e. retired or permanent housewives) are the type to go for small positions of power where they can lord it over the people that are affected - like in HOAs. When it comes to the Internet and forums, you run into lefitst/liberal types that also aren't holding down jobs and feel like the world owes them everything. They take their infinite free time and weasel their way into being moderators and admins of the same forums, and then lord that power over the casual users, imposing their sometimes arbitrary and capricious rules on a whim.
Their infinite free time also allows them to stage 'peaceful protests' and coerce the rest of society.
In a certain sense, we have regressed. In medieval times, you could lord it over other people, but you had to have physical strength in order to impose your will. Now, every pathetic, autistic, fat neckbeard loser Chris-Chan type in his mother's basement can do it if only he gets himself crowned 'moderator'.
We live in an age of infinite Jannies. It's unreal. Every little shrimp-dick power janny looks to find a piss-hole of an administration to lord over.
How did our tyrannts become so fucking weak and unrespectable?
Subs generally attract terrible people by soliciting people who want to be moderators. That's basically guaranteed to get people who want to lord it over other people.
One of KiA2's great successes has been that, with one sad exception, we never appointed people who asked for it as moderator. Instead, I looked at people who seemed cool and decent, and asked them.
I'm not even talking about subs. I'm talking about the worthless bureaucracies in real life too!
And knowing the rules, will also allow the plebeian to amount a defense, and we can't have that pleb defend himself against the immutable word of a maamgender!
That's exactly correct.
