This is actually true here too. Everyone is sick of it, but no one wants to make a scene, now everyone is used to the masks (Absolutely everyone wears them everywhere, except with friends and family... And if you don't it's seen as weird, rude and uncomfortable).
Yeah for sure. Where I am mask wearing was pretty high for a while even after the government and CDC mandates dropped. Now? I'd say 30% at best and that's after the small rise up when the fear porn re-started. I'm not in a rural area either.
Things are busy and masks are the minority despite all this. Everyone knows the risk however little or great they believe them to be. Yet, they continue to vote with their actions with the message "we are done with this." So what that some screamers on social media are unhappy, they can get over it.
Maybe it's totally different in NYC and that fine they can choose to wear their masks until the 22nd century as far as I'm concerned, just leave the rest of us out of it.
Hmm, I don't know about that based on personal, non-social media based experiences.
A very sizable portion think there is no risk, ergo everyone should be vacced and it deteriorates from there.
But you might be right that they are perhaps in the mathematical minority if we have omniscience...still the pro-insanity population is way too non-trivial.
That's an artificial echo chamber created by social media, where the voices of people with arrested mental development are amplified.

Not in red states. The weirdos are the ones still wearing masks.

I want to be rude and make people uncomfortable. People aren't going to change if they're comfortable.
