I had an argument with a coworker on friday over whether or not you could still get and transmit the Shanghai Shivers after having the vaccine. He is vaccinated and totally believes the "we're in the mIdDLe of a pAndEmIc" bs, that the vaccine isn't gene therapy, that it doesn't modify your dna, etc.
I knew he was wrong, but I couldn't remember sources off the top of my head, meanwhile he was looking up cdc links, etc.
Is there a list out there with sources that aren't just some random dude?
Sorry if this breaks some rule.
The CDC literally admitted the vaxxed can still get sick.
That's what we were arguing about and he just pulled up this when I said it would alter your dna.
That's just nitpicking. It alters the function of your cells, so it's functionally the same as altered DNA.
No it is not. Alteration of DNA is permanent, not just for the affected cell but also any future cells that split from that cell. mRNA will eventually break down, not just from the vaccine but any mRNA is temporary.
The relationship between DNA and RNA is not well understood. It isn't impossible for the vaccines to have epigenetic effects.
Nobody knows how long mRNA takes to break down or whether it leaves traces. It's an experimental technology.
