I’ve been looking into getting into streaming as something to do for fun moreso than a way to make $$ and while Twitch is the most known their history of hypocrisy and dubious shit makes me want to find somewhere I can stream without getting ban hammered for talking about “unapproved” topics or whatnot. I know most of the suck but what’s the best one for now?

You can stream using Odysee, decentralized social media like poa.st have a video and streaming section which use PeerTube.
I believe you need 50 of the crypto coin that they use, which shouldn't cost too much.
Problem is audience and what you are streaming. Sure there are a few alt platforms, but the userbase is significantly smaller so you will reach less people. And depending on your mission, it could be an echo chamber.
dlive seems to be a bit more open to "unapproved" topics, though they have their limits (they banned Nick Fuentes). They are pretty much a direct competitor to twitch.
I've been watching trovo for a while and seems to be loose with the "community guidelines"
there is a pay 2 play system to generate traffic to your stream where you bribe people with premium currency to show up and follow and shit
there are some based streams on there
they are owend by tencent so ultimately its in service of the CCP but at this point I feel better indirectly supporting chinese commies than directly supporting san fran trannies
I'm still waiting to hear Razorfist's big announcement on streaming. Shortly after his ban on Twitch he said his move to Dlive would be temporary but he is still there (AFAIK) and I've not seen him say anything else. Dlive appears to tolerate him and his audience for now.
Or you could actually cultivate some skills/talents and actually BE somebody instead of being a worthless, parasitic, ebegger streamer. Just sayin...
Did you even read their post? You could actually cultivate some literacy skills, with some effort, I'm sure.
