Not disagreeing, but I think the 'communist' personality type has been around long before communism. It seems to exist to bring everyone down, and it is extremely pathological.
They don't see it that way. In their worldview they are the good guys, fighting against our manifestation of evil of greed and heartlessness, which in our terms, is just wanting to do what is best for ourselves, the individual. We don't see the world the same way and it's infuriating to try to live with each other.

Correct. Political leftism is simply a manifestation of human evil. Today's radical leftists actively promote deadly sins straight out of the bible.
Pride = literal pride parades
Lust = sex work, porn, pansexuality, polyamory, etc.
Gluttony = fat acceptance
Sloth = welfare
Wrath = riots
Envy = communism
Everything that is degenerate and corruptive and destructive to man and society is championed and celebrated by the left.
