It would have been in substack but I can't get it to publish it.
EDIT: Found the issue with substack(it was the crypto addresses). I've added the list to substack. I don't know how I am doing the update yet, update permanently on the already published list, and creating new posts when there is a new update. Or posting a new list every time.
I went over the section of white washing on wiki, and many of those didn't even fit the definition of white washing. I added those that did, and I was surprised at how little there was. Worse still, WaPo even used those same examples as well, they peddle these as if it made it alright to blackwash or gender swap other characters. As in, it was not as a common the whitewashing as they led us to believe.
Minor thing, though, would Samuel L. Jackson really be considered a race-swap when it was based on the Marvel Ultimate comics run where in that universe (before the MCU even existed) the creators made Nick Fury black (and based on Samuel L. Jackson)? Just asking. I know in some continuities characters change or whatever, and I wasn't sure if that counts.
But otherwise some of those are just disgusting to behold. Also, it appears the same chick who is playing a race-swapped Jill Valentine in the Resident Evil reboot is also playing Red Sonja in the reboot. So they black-washed both characters and lazily hired the same actress for both roles!
I'm following mostly the original design of Nick Fury, because there was even a movie with the original Nick Fury look with the chad looking David Hasselhoff . But I do understand these exceptions, but it needs to be there, regardless.
And yeah I remember that movie, it was cheesy but fun. Aired on Fox didn't it? Hasselhoff did a great job as Fury, too. He really brought the comic book character to life.
Oh, I saw it a LONG time ago! To the point that I have mostly forgotten most of it. That means, I got another good movie that I have seen, and that is nearly brand new for me :D
Want to feel sad, and depressed?

I'm impressed by your weaponized autism, sir.
Also can't help but be amused that the whitewashing section is virtually all women.

What all is censored on substack?
I don't know. It throws me an error when I press to publish it. Checked my ad blockers, script blockers but no cigar :/
Due to wording like "Muzzie" perhaps.
Time for the other half, then. They're "Slims" now, next up on the euphemism treadmill after that is "Virginias".
Found out the reason, it was the crypto addresses.

Could be, I shall try taking that word out or something and try again later.
Mack from Agents of SHIELD appears twice in the blackwashing section.
Thanks!
Fixed.

Love the list, learned a lot.

Oh okay. I wasn't sure how it was being measured.
Thanks for the explanation.
