So it would be interesting to introduce chimps to moving stairways and see how they react ... considering their registered IQ tends to be 70-90 ...
And the first thing I see when I google "chimpanzee escalator" is a chimp named Zippy who seems quite at home on the thing.
Don't forget that pigeons are provably better than certain games journalists at spatial reasoning, so it wouldn't surprise me if some chimps can handle escalators without too much issue.
No. Maybe an adult chimp would be comparable with a five year old with a 90 IQ.
