When your work allows you to do so for so long, its almost reasonable to get mad when they decide to arbitrarily start enforcing the rules. Its one of the first rules of management, where rules not enforced consistently and equally cease to be more than suggestions.

They wish they were being harassed. People would care about them if they were being harassed. The problem is that nobody cares anymore.
