This is pathetic. Why did they do this? Whoever gave the order for them to move in is completely and utterly incompetent. Putting aside the fact that they never should've been there in the first place since these people were doing nothing wrong, they obviously weren't properly equipped and had no idea what they actually wanted to achieve. They made themselves sitting ducks and can consider themselves very lucky that none of them were injured beyond a few cuts.
See, the police are used to people like this just relenting and giving up their shit. The problem is that when they are already explicitly anti-you, you're not going to be able to use your authority to convince them to be compliant. This is because they don't respect yo authoritah.
I'm just passing out some basic-bitch counter insurgency lessons here.
Yep. It seems quite obvious in the video: They went in, and they weren't expecting a fight. They thought all they had to do was show up, say "Break it up", arrest a few people if they got rowdy, and call it a day. Instead, they were met with an extremely hostile and agitated crowd, who not only did not back down, but went on the freaking offensive. Even when the cops brought out the whacky sticks and started hitting people, it just made them angrier instead of making them back down.
Its quite obvious that the ruling class has become SO. UTTERLY. DISCONNECTED. From the average person that they dont seem to realize the beast that is awakening out there. And they probably wont, until their precious power is ripped from their fingers by force (as it seems likely to happen with the political winds at the moment).
This what people don't understand that counter-insurgency teaches you fairly quickly: power is illusory.
Power is solely based on compliance. The only thing outside of persuading, appealing, negotiating, or inspiring... is coercion. You don't actually have power. It's granted to you with relatively little thought, and then can be taken away at a moment's notice. You will realize that power is an illusion when you point a gun at someone and you can see in their face that they simply couldn't care any less whether you kill them or not, and they find you to be simply annoying.
"Stop, or I'll kill you!"
"I don't give a shit."
^ It's not a good situation for the guy giving the orders. If you kill him, you still don't have any power over him. In fact, you have less power over him than you did before, because he can't comply when he's dead.
This is a very hard lesson to people who are used to being obeyed. Power is an illusion. This is actually why the Left is so obsessed with propaganda and symbols, the symbols and propaganda are the power. Not the policies. As soon as people stop seeing you as legitimate, then your power is gone.
Power will not be ripped from the establishment's hands. It will simply be lost because the establishmentarians will look down at their hands, and be stunned to realize it's not in their grasp (because it never was). The average person won't know this, because the average snowflake doesn't know it's in a blizzard. This will be a cascade failure, at least as big and as thorough as the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Priority #1 of the government should be to recognize the populist threat and contain it with symbolic appeasement. It's Fabian Socialist specialty, but the Fabians have come to a horrible realization that they've run out of time. The money isn't real, and the power isn't either, so the kingdom is built on it's own delusions of grandeur.
The day the Right takes up the ACAB slogan, is the day the praetorian guard lose all their authority. They have the options of enjoying their power while it lasts, or going on a unified front to say to their political overlords "fuck off".
Even Ontario, as shit as it is to its citizens sometimes, had its police forces unified in saying "fuck off, we're not enforcing your new law" to its leader, which I'm sure bought a lot of public approval for them, and will allow them to keep their authority and power for a while longer in that area.
Enforcement is a negotiation. It doesn't look like one, but it is one. And right now, the police have less bargaining power than ever. They need to bring something to the table that the public wants.
I think the issue in trying to make the Right say ACAB is that a lot of our police arent like that. For instance, my governor says masks are required. My sheriff doesnt give a damn. I have seen him walk into the local gas station to get his morning coffee, and he just waves at everyone and saying "Morning" and doesnt even give them a second look if they arent wearing mask. And that is the attitude of most police in Right-leaning areas. And on the riot front, my local cities have not spared the rod and mercilessly beat BLM and Antifa until they got the hint that they should leave, and so we have seen only minor crime spikes, especially compared to other cities who are seeing double, or even triple, digit percent increases in crime.
So is it any wonder that around here we still fly the Thin Blue Line flags and say "We love our cops!"? And yet, a lot of the people who fly those flags, when you bring up departments like the LAPD or NYPD, the response is "Screw'em, until they learn who they should be serving."
It certainly is regional, which does make sense given that precincts are regional. "Specific Cop Organizations Are Bastards" SCOAB, just doesn't ring in the chants as well though...
Which changes it from a left-right to a locational issue. But that's a great example of cops knowing how to negotiate their power: don't use authority, that valuable and rare currency, when you don't need to.
A lot of the Staties seem to be pretty squared away. Portland's police, when just left to do their job also seem to be pretty good too.
The New Orleans Police Department? Holy shit, no. Those guys have been shady as fuck for decades.
This is where the problem with that lies. Do not attack all cops, or all militiaries, regardless of revolutionary desire. It is is always a self-defeating effort. Your objective is to subvert the military and/or police. You want to take control of the military & police, not destroy them. This is the mistake of the Leftists because the Fabains plan on introducing their own public-private police forces through the Safe Cities program.
The right needs to recruit the police and the military. If you control both apparatuses, then you can effectively win any revolution after that using force of will alone.
This is also why you don't want to secede. You are abandoning both territory and the remaining military forces to the Leftists. No es bueno. They will use that to invade.
Correct, dude to the illusory nature of power, enforcement must be a negotiation.
They were banking on mass compliance. Big mistake, let's hope they make more.
