I remember even Drew Magary talked about how off putting it was to hear the blatant, fetishistic pandering that went on in ad rooms when discussing casting of commercials. I'm fine with "diversity" but when you constantly hear about how we "need" more representation of PoC in various fields its funny how that only goes one way. Oddly enough, another group that is massively over represented is gingers.
I should have clarified. I guess what I meant is there are around 44 million black people in the US so I would understand seeing them in advertisements occasionally. But when it comes to reality and the current definition of diversity, I trust science and science has shown that diversity is a net negative on society (and not just for evil whites.)

They are portrayed as successful family oriented homeowners, which does not fit well with the *be less white" narrative.
