Some nurses can be okay, but they need to be like: experienced ER nurses. I want my nurse to be a cynical, salty, veteran of trauma care, and has preformed multiple manual heart massages by reaching into a dying patient's chest in a last ditch effort to keep them alive (which usually fails).
They are usually salty enough to not pull punches and tell the clear and concise truth about the situation.
My trust in and respect for the field of medicine have been completely annihilated.
A 5 minute chat with a nurse will usually do that on its own.

I had to go to the hospital recently and thankfully I had two awesome nurses who made the experience much better than it could have been.
But yeah unfortunately many of them are shitty people who think they're God's gift to the world.
