I don't think your logic is sound. It's very possible that the Chinese vaccine is of poor quality due to Chinese incompetence (which is very well-documented at this point).
Another possibility is that China has already achieved their goal, by forcing the West to basically shut down for over a year. In such a scenario, helping the West distribute an effective vaccine is not actually a priority.
For the sake of argument, it really doesn't matter whether the virus leaked intentionally or not. Just that, once it leaked, China did some damage control and realized the West is about to enter a long period of shutdown. This obviously benefits China's anti-Western aspirations.
This also raises the question of why China was researching such harmful viruses in the first place, which everyone seems to ignore.

A lot of assumptions that it was a bioweapon, but scrubbed articles from a few years ago were speculating that the Wuhab lab was working on viruses that they can then develop the vaccine for and profit from "curing".
Whether it was created as a bio weapon is irrelvant to their weaponization of it, which happened when China kept international flights going. The biowarfare tactic of throwing dead animals over castle walls doesn't require genetic engineering. The lab debate only serves to distract from the fact that China engaged in global biowarfare.

Remember - China has had about 4 leaks of viruses they were researching in the past :
Sars version 1 - leaked from the same beijing lab TWICE and infected people in Beijing.
China can't create baby powder without killing its own people. I wouldn't trust it to perform gain of function research safely

So maybe it was accidentally released before it was ready.
