When hyperinflation takes hold, people will be demanding bigger social safety nets...which will result in more hyperinflation.
It may be a little while longer; the feds have been pretty effective at keeping gold and silver prices artificially low and fudging the real inflation numbers....not that any of that is a good thing.
It's getting harder for average people not to notice. Sure the "technical" numbers say there is no inflation, but people see it when eating out and a meal in Jan 2020 was $7 not it's $10. What was a weekly $60 grocery bill is now $90. When 20 rounds of ammo cost what 100...okay maybe that's a bad example....
