So at my local comic book the back issues are selling so fast and the section is so crowded that they started to put a time limit on how long you can be there. I was reading an article talking about the rise in popularity with back issues and it reminded of an article last year about the rise of classic tv channels.
Shouldn’t that be a sign to modern day entertainment companies?
I’m 40 and have been buying Spider-Man and Superman (my favorite characters) all my life but not enjoying the newer stuff anymore. I’m thinking of just buying older stuff with Marvel/DC and buying Manga or independent companies like alterna.
The good news is there are so many classic marvel and DC comics. I’ve recently bought a bunch of old Conan and Avengers comics for instance. Also great Dark Horse Star Wars Old EU stuff.
But do you think entertainment companies see the popularity in older stuff?
The canon explanation is that being brought through the Zero Point affects the character's memory, therefore Batman forgets he can't use guns.
Yes. That's really their idea.

There's just no words. You win, Epic, my mind is officially gone.
They had to find a way to explain why Street Fighter characters were firing AKs at Xenomorphs and bananas with human expressions.
They did it better in Justice League. They're dealing with Anansi, who has the ability to change how the threads of fate are woven. He tries to break up the team by changing their pasts in a way that they never team up.
For Batman, he makes just a small tweak. The night young Bruce is supposed to see Zorro, Anansi makes the show sell out. Instead, he sees The Searchers starring John Wayne. When his parents are murdered, he decides becomes a gun-slinging vigilante rather.
