Says I'm already logged in and I try to refresh the session but I get a javascript void error and it doesn't do anything. The site thinks I'm logged in but I can't log out or anything because it won't let me. Already cleared cache and cookies just to get another throwaway account active bit I'd like my main one back.

"JavaScript:void 0;" isn't an error, it's a placeholder. It means the site is using a link element but they don't want it to do link things (as a button to run some JavaScript code, typically) and you've done something that bypassed their kluge (like middle-clicking to open the link in a new tab).
I have run into an issue a few times where kotakuinaction2.win thought I was logged out but the authentication server knew I was logged in, but it's always worked itself out on its own after a bit.
Happens to me sometimes.
What I found is if you login in one community, e.g. here and it bugs out, the login still works fine in other communities, e.g. DIY. If that happens I close my browser (which clears all cookies including the login), login in some other community and then come here.
This worked for me. Thanks very much.
Oh, there we go. Just needed to shunt it with another account maybe. Idiotic of me to post before trying this but I'll leave this here in case someone else needs to know this method for some reason.
Try using an Incognito Window and logging in using that. If it works that way, then either you are using a plugin that sabotages the site (NoScript without exceptions perhaps), or there are cookies from authentication/communities.win that you need to delete.
Clear your cache, that usually fixes things.
go to communities.win. You should be able to access your account there, if not, one of the other .win sites. Then try logging out and back in until you show up here. It might work if you log in on communities.win, or this site, or another .win. I was able to get it to work this way, and haven't had the issue since.
Looks like they might just have fixed it: https://patriots.win/p/12hkvte2PD/win-bug-reports/
