So while I don't actually "use" twitter, I do have an account with fuck all in it out of curiosity what trends and recommendations might be thrown it's way.
This was in the "What's happening"/trending tab yesterday and I spotted it again just now so grabbed a screenshot because even with ad blocks and everything I'm still not clicking that link.
An image relating to domestic abuse titled "WHAT MEN DO TO WOMEN" is pretty much the standard most of us are expecting these days when it comes to any and all coverage from the MSM and techgiants in charge.
Immediate setting of the narrative that men are the perpetrators and women are victim, flat out ignoring the highest cases of reported DA are between lesbian couples, the lowest is between gay couples, and het couples being in the middle sex distribution wise are... in the middle funnily enough.
So to tick off the title remarks:
Homophobic: Erases gay/lesbian relationships from the topic.
Sexist: The usual "Men bad, women good" and no alternative.
Gaslighting: Again the usual pushing the above.
Even if there were complaints made against this kind of continued propaganda the only reason it would get pulled is because of the socjus/woke crowd jumping on the homophobic/erasure angle rather than anything else.
tl;dr: honk
And the feminazi myth of "men act, women are acted upon" is alive and well. For people who supposedly are all for women being active and in control of our circumstances, this is funny.
Modern feminism thrives off the very gender roles they claim to oppose and evolutionary biology they claim doesn’t exist. It takes society’s and men’s desire to protect and care for women and scales it up to a level that was never possible before and with goals that have never been sought before, with horrific results.
I don’t even think the participants are necessarily evil, either. If men could benefit from such special pleading, there would probably be a group of men doing the exact same thing. It’s just human nature.
Nor do those who fall for it, such as legislators, necessarily realize what’s actually happening. Helping women just feels like the right thing to do so they do it.
But then there are plenty, of course, who use the grift for personal gain. Whether it’s Anita Sarkeesian begging for donations or Biden begging for political power, there are plenty who know exactly what they’re doing.
Well, all of feminism needs women to be objects without agency. So, of course it's alive and well.
'trending' is basically a non-stop, 24-7 flood of hatred against anyone who refuses to accept woke ideology. If were to enact hate speech laws against shit that offended me, twitter treated like stormfront.
This coming from the people who put themselves above the law.
