Big tech are quite fucking stupid, aren't they?
I wouldn’t say stupid. By pulling Minds from the store, they are dissuading those who aren’t interested in performing extra steps from using it. The normies are not interested in anything that isn’t given to them on a silver plate.
You wouldn't believe how clueless/lazy most normies are. If it involves more steps (or even different steps) than the ones they first learned, they won't even try to do it.
That includes those who are otherwise "tech savvy ".
