Communities like gaming, sports, etc. have been officially released:

I'll keep an eye on them, but I prefer smaller communities like this and even Half-KIA. On that note: what are you playing right now?
CK3 is still a bare bones GSG. You can't compare them until it gets a few DLCs.
For me it's not the amount of content. It's that while CK3 does a lot of little things better, in its rush to reinvent itself and look modern the overall feel of the game is off.
It's the same thing with Civ 6 vs Civ 5.
Paradox is trying too hard for that mass appeal and sacrificing functionality. I came here to stare at sterile maps and spreadsheets dammit.
I mean I'm fine with some of the graphical changes to make it look pretty but only if it doesn't sacrifice functionality and game flow.
It's a creeping problem across their games, but I still enjoy it and look forward to the next couple DLC, whatever they will be.
Oh damn that's a shame. The UI and, well, everything in CK2 was great imho. No need to reinvent the wheel. Honestly I would've been just fine with them optimizing ck2 and just releasing more stuff for it.
Yeah. It's harder to get easier to navigate in CK2's UI with your seven tabs in the top left which cover every possible bit of information or decision you can possibly want.
In 3 it's not so easy. But it appeals to some people more than 2 (just like Civ 6 appeals to people more than Civ 5) but for me it's got to be 2 all the way.
