Because for all their flaws, they hold onto their brand.
I'd argue at this point we have our own brand as well. If I don't see the "2" I assume it's run by Half's mods until I know otherwise.
I still say we should have dropped the KIA name entirely and became culturewar.win
Canadian Tire should change their name now that they no longer just sell tires, but sometimes it's worth it to keep an obsolete brand with more name recognition.
