Reddit’s broken. The astroturfing and reputation-management accounts are running amok to a kind of frightening degree. I was in a news thread about Amazon losing or winning a legal battle against its own warehouse employees and there was an account that , almost verbatim, was like “I’m a neutral observer and I haven’t been paid to post this but here’s a list of steps Amazon has taken to robustly defend the health of its workers”. Hundreds of upvotes, close to the top of the thread, and no one was calling it out! I tried but I think my use of shill got me shadowbanned because my post never showed up
