I can't recall one advertisement they've released in the past few years that didn't give the impression that they were angling specifically for the ethnic focus groups. They even made the nuggets spicy without saying anything. Is it really "appropriation" if they're just being honest with themselves? Popeye's has the southern cajun market locked, so they had to go another route. They're all owned by megacorporations and they all pander. Have any fast food chains ever pretended otherwise?
