I waved the white flag a while back and just decided with few exceptions to only watch/read stuff from 2014 and prior.

I would argue that this is not the white flag, but a victory - as you are re-establishing control over your own mind and rejecting their attempts to control it through propaganda.

Like if a new show comes out that doesn't meet the woke mafia's standard for diversity/representation why can't we just say "well if the cast is too white then it isn't for you or you can just watch something else"

Double standards. It's what they have in all other areas of life, so why would you not expect it here? Their ideology is totalitarian, so they want control over absolutely everything. And that is quite distinct from what mascot they are using at any given moment.

And one thing I will never understand as a lifelong comic book reader/collector is why so many feminists get into comic books or gaming for that matter if they hate the hobby so much.

For them, 'hobbies' are just politics through other means. That is what totalitarians are. See how Stalin used art to advance his politics.

Correct. The ones who do get positions are self-promoters. These are not the people who are actually interested in gaming. Look at an Amy Hennig. Look how little attention she gets from these vile creatures, even though she is smart, competent and mentally stable, while the Zoe Quinns and Brianna Wus ("woman") of the world get all the attention. Apart from the difference in competence, Hennig is not preaching about how she is a woman all day. She's actually doing the work.

This is true in many other fields. There are many other great scholars who are female or black, who are completely ignored, because they are doing scholarship instead of talking about their gender and race.

Oh yea, that is another triggering thing. Telling these people to make their own material.

Double standards need no justification. They are a naked exercise of power. You may as well wonder about why they think that the taxpayer not funding 'Piss Christ' is censorship, while banning people who disagree with them is not censorship. There's nothing there.

Sometimes I feel like an oddball because I am a 40 year old black American and I understand that the U.S. is majority white, so I am not going to throw a fit when most of the entertainment is done by whites.

Honestly, the thought of being upset that entertainment is white had never even occurred to me until just a few years ago when the non-stop whining started. My ethnicity gets close to 0 'representation'. Not only could I not care less, I find it mystifying that there would be anyone who cares. It does bother me when there are SJWs in entertainment, instead of human beings.

Have you noticed that these people always say that "blacks need to see people on TV who look like them"?

Plus I think someone has personal issues if they have to see themselves represented in everything they watch.

The scumbag, drug-addicted, rapist/ pedophile actors in Hollywood do not "represent" me regardless of their ethnicity. This stupid race/ethnic obsession has gone way too far.
