My view on that was always that corporations should be forced, and small independent businesses should not. Corporations aren't people. Small businesses are.
I can agree with that idea in principle, but the line between the two is where trouble will be found, and corporations are the people who write the laws on stuff like defining which is which.

You know what? Corporations ARE legally "persons".
And yet, they never get prison time for their crimes.
