Because they live and breathe projection. So they assume we literally worship the figures we defend/promote like they do theirs.
Its why they think every Trump voter is an obsessed sycophant, because that's what they are (see AOC, RBG, etc.)
Combine that with "The right thinks the left is wrong, the left thinks the right is evil." and things get distressing fast.

Bootlickers = Anyone not supporting the glorious jackbooted revolutionaries as they take on the oppressive government. They call you boot licker because that's what they want to do, stomp you down and make you lick their boots so they can humiliate you more as they then just keep stomping.

Really? When? Pretty sure we were all disgusted at the murder of Ryan Whittaker. And the attacks on civilians protesting lockdowns or tyrannical takeover. Also at police hearding Trump supporters into Antifa to start fights. Meanwhile you guys are literally getting on the floor and licking their boots.
