Imagine living in the woods and your teachers say you can't say gun in grade school. That's backwoods Oregon. Then there's the weirdos from Gravity Falls.
State Secession will probably be coming in the future. Not from the federal government, but from the states.
Keep seeing governors rule by edict, and that's exactly what's going to happen.
That's what Kamala is for.
As much as wish it were possible, there is likely absolutely no way the federal government would ever approve of something like this, not least of which because there is just no legal framework by which it might happen. There's tons of Virginia country looking to join West Virginia because of how much Ralph "Blackface" Northam is fucking the state up. They face the same challenges.
I know what the law currently says, but the law will break and change under significant pressure. If you've got a governor in one state who's effectively purging and tyrannizing entire counties, while the neighboring state thinks they can absorb counties due to the political instability, you might get it anyway. How that gets rationalized legally afterwards may simply be irrelevant if the tensions are too high.
Non-Chicago Illinois has entered the chat
I don’t know, this just seems like more Americans looking to move with their problems to other states.
I’ve heard Oregon is a close second to Commiefornia.
Everywhere in oregon that isn't Portland and Eugene is blood red. Salem is purple.
Part of it might be that, but in this case I think its more the non-Portlanders in Oregon begging to escape Portland's insanity.
