Very true, and not just here. Somewhere along the line the default role of government in the Western world became to enforce a kind of race/gender-based, selective socialism.
I think it was Milton Friedman who was so fond of saying "You care more about the motive than you do the result.". The putrid carcass of what was once liberal ideology has, at it's center, the unwavering belief that their motives are pure (equality of outcome), and therefore, no escalation is too far, no opposition justifiable.
And a semblance of that ideal exists across the political spectrum. I am not aware of a single major political candidate whose platform involves (or even alludes to) abolishing affirmative action.
In this case, not really. Corbyn is an anti-semite because he was a self-admitted close friend of Yasser Arafat, a man who's life's mission was the slaughter of all Jews everywhere, and he never once in his career was made to answer for that.
You don't get to be the close friend of the Arab wannabe Hitler and then claim you aren't a Nazi.
Man, Labour is turning into the old CPSU with all these purges. Now the former leader is being purged for having an opinion? Corbyn didn't do squat against all the people who were stabbing him in the back for being... well, completely nuts. Only Sarah Champion was purged, and I think you can guess why.
It's politically brilliant. Starmer is taking out his enemies one by one, using 'anti-Semitism' as an excuse. But in reality, it is a political power play.
To be fair, I'd understood Corbyn's efforts to woo Momentum had lead to Labour importing a bunch of very ... old-school ... socialists, with all the fun that brings...
Starmer thinks he can win back voters by distancing himself from magic grandad. He's doing it wrong.
Jewish Britons may have abandoned Labour over anti-semitism, white Britons didn't.
White Britons didn't abandon Labour because it became anti-semitic, they abandoned Labour because it became anti-white.
White Britons abandoned Labour because of things like "unconscious bias training".
Oh, look.
All British parties are anti-white. Lib Dems just more than Labour, and Labour more than the Conservatives.
This.
There's no party that isn't selling everyone out to whoever will give them votes.

waits for Jess Phillips to be suspended
Any day now...
I wouldn't even suspend her
Easy there, Sargon
He was just an average dude, ah
Neckbeard sittin' in his bedroom, ah
JESS: I AM OUTRAGED YOU'D SAY THAT!
As soon as she becomes a threat to the party establishment, she will be.
She ran against him and dropped out because nobody liked her enough, even in that cult. Kind of like Harris.
Anti-semitism = disagreeing with anything related to Jews or Israel or simply being white.
I too find it very logical that 40% of the condemnations of the UN are directed at Israel.
I don't think it's anti-Semitism, by the way. But there is no pretense that there is anything reasonable about it.
Israel existing enrages the UN more than Chinese and North Korean Dachaus and Buchenwalds.

i think there is a quote like this: "antisemites" used to be someone who dislikes jews, now its simply someone who the jews dislike.

A reminder the "moderate" political left wanted him to be Prime Minister
