This occurred to me while watching their bullshit press conference.
The press conference would look exactly the same if Karmelo's brother had been actually murdered by a racist white police officer.
I knew they were trying to paint themselves as the victims, but the extent to which they are trying this shit is still honestly mindboggling, and utterly enraging.
The mom crying. The "community advocate" or whatever - the psychotic child-beater - crying racism and bigotry. Also, keep Kyle Rittenhouse's name out of your fucking mouth, you retard. He's been through enough, the circumstances were different, and he actually spent time in jail despite being innocent. I know you have the IQ of a lemon, but these things are not the same, so just shut up.
I swear, this whole family is psychotic, and they further surrounded themselves with additional psychotics.

I listen to things as I work, and sometimes that's podcasts, sometimes it's audiobooks. Looking for suggestions on audiobooks, preferably fiction. Sci-fi, fantasy, urban fantasy, but anything goes. Bonus points for long, consistently good series since, as mentioned, I listen to it daily as I work, so we're talking dozens of hours per week.

I'd make a disclaimer that if the charges are true she can rot...but they've changed the charges so often I don't even know what the current charges are. But, yeah, if child abuse took place, and she was a part of it, screw her. Of course.
It's just really disturbing how long this has been going on though, and it's sad that people have stopped talking about it. There used to be more attention paid to the case, but it's dragged on (well, starting it has), that most people lost interest. We have one post about her here, from two years ago. Even Reddit - which seems stuck in the past, so I would have thought Half-KiA or Reddit KiA2 would mention it - haven't posted about it in three or four years, as far as I can tell.
Six fucking years she's been sitting in jail, apparently in some rather unpleasant conditions. They've already dropped a ton of the charges they used to detain her, before any trial even took place.
The whole thing stinks, and her life has been utterly ruined.

Without comment or explanation directly to the person he was banning. He banned him because someone else responded with "Cool it with antisemitic remarks" (which I've seen reported repeatedly, someone really doesn't like that meme), and said the parent comment did break the rules.
Now, that parent could have also been reported, but it is funny that Dom has said he can't hunt down parent comments before, here:

Excuse me, but what the fuck? He was previously not banned, obviously, since he could comment. His only offending comment was found to not be rule-breaking. His ban was rescinded. Then he was banned again (also with no direct communication), with the reason apparently being that he was unbanned? What's this "ban reduced" nonsense?
This is like being arrested for resisting arrest.

I live in one of the most liberal areas of the country. Haven't run the numbers, but I know it's up there. Most of my clients are very progressive. So tomorrow I'll be interacting with people who have Harris signs in their yard. I can't wait. I'll keep my cool, and just nod and look neutral and act professional, but I expect at least some level of seething.
