There are breakthrough women in STEM positions who qualify, but there are definitely more men in those types of positions overall, lots of reasons nature and nurture. Any other position in the entire world, I'd argue, is a matter of empathy and charm or repetitve tasks.
They put the really smart guys in charge of the important stuff that uses math like operations, and put a woman in a C-level position like HR or Marketing so they can prove they're inclusive.

I don't know, but suspect it's a state line. They've been preventing people from crossing state-to-state. Some people haven't been allowed to "go home", and they're running out of money staying in hotels waiting.
