Eh they also say the want to abolish guns, but celebrate the actions of Tyler Robinson and Luigi Mangione, who both used guns (in the lore anyway, of course the facts about Charlie's assassination are muddy, at best). Clearly they're very happy with guns when used toward their evil ends, i.e. when it suits them.

They lie dude. It's not that hard complicated. You could twist it into a half truth and say "well, they want to abolish the existing policing and prison systems and replace them with their own," but at the end of the day it's much simpler just to acknowledge that they're lying and they want to use the state to kill you. Turns out mass murderers don't often feel the need to justify their morality to their victims.
