Unless Kratos is the playable character for 90% of the new game, it won't sell. Why? Because she's ugly.

We have had an entire YEAR now of where ANY game with unattractive women has flopped. Meanwhile any game with hot or just attractive around average has done well. Because the latter typically has good character writing, seems there is a filter where if you can't even design the character to appeal to players, it's nearly 100% confirmed the writing for them will also be terrible.
