I agree with the principle you have stated, but if only it were simple as "self control." Don't get it twisted, you are right, but there is a severe problem with how we are processing food for the average joe. We are poisoned at every fucking angle you have to maintain a constant vigil on what you choose to consume.

Bread in America is so fucked you can't help but feel like you are committing a crime at every sandwich when you really know what's going down. The moral really amounts to not so much as "self control" imo and more down to going back to basics and learning to cook meals from base ingredients more.
