If there is anything I've learned over my lifetime it is that the uniparty is fucking gawful. This is why I have long railed around trying to get people to understand that our real enemy is the First Past The Post election process it self.
The way to solve this is with a ranked choice system but then you have many people, especially on the right or (supposedly right...) Republican side who haven't done the research and haven't figured out that the RCV is not the bogyman that they have been conned into believing.
They think Alaska is an example of a scam against them, it very well may have been a scam but the scam was scaring them into thinking that it was to steal the election for the Democrats. The actual scam was to scare the right/Republican base against RCV and in that way it worked.
The key thing to understand is that neither side of the uniparty wants a RCV system, it destroys the uniparty stranglehold on our political system. Here is an intro to the basics of why we need to kill FPTP if we are ever to restore our republic.
