Reason: Fixed a typo

What saddens me is that nearly everyone commenting on this case has 0 clue about the details.

I happened to see coverage on Sportnet tonight after the verdict came in.

  • Lots of B-roll footage of the hockey players looking douchy
  • Really focused on the fact that the NHL wasn't reinstating them without doing their own investigation
  • The NHL released a statement that they were treating the allegations as disturbing (and Believe All Women) even if they weren't criminal. IE, ignoring the Not Guilty Verdict
  • Lots of implications that the Crown was going to Appeal the Not Guilty verdict simply because it wasn't the verdict they wanted
  • The two Crown Attorneys interviewed were ham beast, Karen HR types. They were activists through & through. Their main concern was talking about all the letters of support they were receiving from across the country and how they were focused on getting those kind words to the "victim" E.M.
  • Then the Crown Attorneys started word salad about violence against women, need for awareness and action, difficultly to get systemic justice, blah blah blah.
