Ah, this routine again. A game trailer that expects me to root for the hip, young, diverse protagonists purely because they're hip, young, and diverse while being the sole aggressors in the depicted conflict. Much like the recent Saints Row game (which bombed) and Beyond Good and Evil pre-sequel (which went into development hell AGAIN). Wokists don't know how to make their heroes look like heroes within a couple minutes. Kind of like how they can't make a meme without writing a novel's worth of word salad into it.

On another note, African futurism is such a retarded term. In the rest of the world, it's just called futurism, or cyberpunk, or plain science fiction. The idea that Sub-Saharan Africas would develop their own distinct-looking technological future is a laugh. All technology they have in the modern world is a remnant of what other nations left over for them, all of which is breaking down as we speak. Everything they develop is a crude imitation with no understanding of how it actually works. Wakanda they ain't...and even Wakanda, which isn't that spectacular of a culture itself, only got to where it is because of magical space metal.
