It's smug to tell people there's something wrong with them for not knowing something you know, doubly so when it's a subject that people are honestly better off knowing nothing about. Do you have any clue how humiliated you would be, on a great many subjects, if everyone involved here actually shared their total knowledge? Especially if you're so deeply buried in pop culture that you can't even conceive of a person who doesn't know about it.
