If we hold up a picture of PF against a picture of average marines, the marines make PF look good. And marines already look good compared to the population as a whole. That's a statistical anomaly that cannot be explained away by them merely having standards. The main point though is that they're all about the same age... late 20's to mid 30's. The very age you'd expect a man to be if they just finished an enlistment and got recruited into intelligence.

The only explanation I can come up with for that is that they're all from fucking Langley.
