Never watched the show, never read the books, have no skin in this game...but good. Fuck these garbage adaptations that exist as communist propaganda vehicles.

Now if only we would get similar announcements for The Witcher and Rings of Power.

Maybe I'm petty but when they announced the cast of the show I knew it wouldn't be good. I guess the one benefit of race and gender swapping is that is shows the priorities of the people in charge.

It's the ultimate Brown M&M test. If they are adamantly refusing to get something as simple as the freaking skin color of the characters right, you know they won't do any of the more complex stuff right either.
