Devils advocate: Why not? Theyre both under attack from an enemy force. I don't care about or agree with "Euro" identity, but it exists to a degree for some people as does 'white identity.' ..and the same way 'all of Christendom' needed to unite to repel the Muslim hordes at one point, they need to do so again. The exact identity maybe isnt important as long as it discriminates against the correct outgroups.

*To expand on this-I noticed a trend in your comments that diminishes the idea that White as racial\ethnic identity exists for people or is historically based at all. As if there is a subversive ideology (nazis, or whatever) crafting it out of thin air. That definitely isn't true in America and probably isn't entirely true in Europe either even if national\ethnic\regional identities are stronger! Its hard for me to a imagine a white person could legit believe that.
