The few black creators I’ve seen (whether it be gaming, literature, comics) seem to be young and and I’ve only seen a few that can make a story that isn’t some racial narrative or “blackity black black”. But I’d support a gaming company that says “I’m going to make the game I want and I don’t care if it doesn’t meet current year diversity standards”. I’ve read older black authors who were able to write better stories than younger ones today but I could say that for white authors I’ve read like golden age sci fi authors compared to modern day writers
