It's so bad that by the fourth game, it's questionable if he even really accomplished anything. Which makes Batman, who IS a master planner, a really bad setup for Snake. By the time they fight, Batman will have so many contingency plans in place, alongside his already formidable combat skills, that Snake won't be able to keep up.
