Normally people don't need to bring this up everytime something is mentioned. For example if i brought up the fact that Swedish are proud of being Vikings, would you go around immediately talking about how "the Vikings did terrible things"? and "Vikings raped and pillaged , destroyed churches and conquered but sure the Swedish are right to still be proud?. " Whenever vikings are mentioned in any scenario and in any given conversation about the vikings you must be sure to put them down at the first opportunity even when no one else mentioned it? would you try to pretend you aren't covertly still trying to push Swedish heritage down?
