I'm in more or less the same boat as you (just dropped Stormlight / Sanderson after his betrayal - I honestly wouldn't haved cared nearly as much if he had just written a NEW, ignorable series that was woke but I can't stand when authors add that stuff several books into an existing series and that's why I call it a betrayal).
I liked a lot of the other suggestions floating around here (I've also enjoyed James Islington, Jim Butcher, Larry Correia, Brent Weeks, James Corey, and Pierce Brown). Had a few other recs to throw in there so I just created an account.

You might also enjoy The Spellmonger by Terry Mancour. Fantasy series. Some of the early books (first 2-3) aren't as good - especially the first book which the ending feels like it was written by an overly horny teenager. But if you can make it past the first few books (I think there are 17-18 in the series so far), both the MC and the series massively improve after that. The few "ero" scenes are largely gone from the series after that and later books in the series give Sanderson a run for his money in terms of worldbuilding, lore, magical mechanics, etc. Honestly, I rank it up there with authors mentioned above. And if you like Tim Gerard Reynolds as a narrator, I'm pretty confident that you will also like John Lee's narration.
-
A few other great sci-fi series are The Expeditionary Force by Craig Alanson, The Bobiverse by Dennis E Taylor, and The Martian by Andy Weir (standalone novel - if going for the audiobook, I highly recommend the R.C. Bray narration over the Wil Wheaton one - even if you unfortunately pretty much need to turn to the high seas for it nowadays...unless you're lucky enough to find it at a local library etc. IMHO, WW is complete garbage as a narrator and replacing the Bray version with the WW one was a huge mistake; they should have just offered buyers the choice of which narrator they wanted).
-
If you like comedy mixed in with your sci-fi, then Hard Luck Hank by Steven Campbell is also pretty good.
-
Some other good ones that aren't quite traditional fantasy or sci-fi but probably fall into progression fantasy and maybe slightly into litrpg (and I'm not usually a fan of litrpgs): Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman, Cradle by Will Wight, Hedge Wizard by Alex Maher, Master Hunter K by From Hell, Mark of the Fool by J.M. Clarke, Perfect Run by Maxime Durand, and Mother of Learning by Domagoj Kurmaic.
Everything listed can also be found as an audiobook.
