On the other side, this is just the system trying to placate the masses who are increasingly exfiltrating themselves from the corrupt systems, and so they're trying to present themselves as "friends" again, in an attempt to bring us back into the fold of the entirely corrupted systems, so they can continue to control us. They absolutely don't want us off their plantation, where they have all the power and where we're completely neutered.
