This was the first thing that came to mind for me as well. I used streams like this for the first few months that I watched anime, but quickly moved to torrents. Perhaps it's just a habit thing? If I'd been using streams for over a decade at this point it'd probably feel hard to make the move. I imagine many are in that boat. I don't think people realize how easy it is before they actually start doing it.
