But for other stuff it just doesn't stick in the mind as well because they use the franchises as a skinsuit to tell the same tired old stories. So for normies it's like:
"Oh look this is a unique setting. Bored now watch something else"
There's nothing underneath the asthetic to make it standout, I bet if it was the writers of Fallout New Vegas, they'd have probably done the series like the Anime Handyman Saitou in Another World so you could follow different people on different quests as other than the Ghoul and little brother, everyone else was REALLY dull.
