There is simply no way to properly raise children unless you live out in the middle of nowhere on a farm and homeschool from birth until adulthood and only keep them constrained to a peer group from families that do the same thing. You are a parent that lives in any kind of suburban or Urban area, even if you live in a rural area but still send them to public schools, if you allow them to have a smartphone at all, the battle is lost. The only way to win is to never let your children interact with that stuff. Which is basically impossible for 99% of families.
