Random but I didn't think it was possible for a community worse than EVE Online to appear but Rust was amazing to learn about and you quickly realise doing the maths that the fuckers who are on the biggest servers are operating in clans and deliberately grabbing any bit of cloth they can find in a lot of cases specifically to prevent any naked noobs from being able to build up and take them out.

EVE Online players did a very similar thing when it comes to the tech blueprint manufacturing and they used tons of bot accounts to prevent anyone from using them by constantly queuing them so they couldn't build better ships and also control the market. The more you learn the maths the more it turns you against multiplayer gaming if it isn't strictly designed for fun.
